A negative pressure dressing that functions like a pump.
VACUTEX™ is a special type of wound dressing that consists of a patented 3-layer structure of Polyester and Polyester-Cotton filaments, that mechanically works as a low level “pump” through capillary action.
It is not identical to Negative Pressure Wound Therapy but has an autologous mechanism like NPWT. VACUTEX™ creates a negative pressure of 68mmHG and can be used to treat hard to heal wounds with moderate to heavy amounts of exudate and slough.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
VACUTEX™ must not be used on arterial bleeds or with thick, creamy substances such as Vaseline (e.g., Jelonet), since these block the micro-capillary channels. Don't use Vacutex when there are cancer cells in the wound

The Mechanism Of Action of a Wound Dressing with Strong Capillary Pull:

Continuous drawing
Wound fluid and oedema are continuously and 100% drawn out of the wound bed by the 1st layer of the VACUTEX™ wound dressing. The drawing power of VACUTEX™ only works if the capillary channels are in direct contact with the wound fluid.

Drainage
The wound fluid and oedema that is drawn out of the wound will be locked and spread in the central (middle) layer of the VACUTEX™ wound dressing through horizontal drainage. VACUTEX™ remains dry on the skin contact side, but in the wound bed the dressing remains moist. Because of this the wound fluid will not macerate the wound edges.

Drainage and removal
When the central (middle) layer of the VACUTEX™ wound dressing is saturated, the excess of wound fluid is transported to the third (outer) layer of the VACUTEX™ wound dressing. From this layer, the wound fluid will evaporate or (in case of high amounts of exudate) can be absorbed by a secondary (super absorbent) wound dressing on top of VACUTEX™.
What are the benefits?
VACUTEX™ facilitates the healing of hard to heal wounds, by improving oxygen levels and reducing exudate and oedema levels in and around hard to heal wounds.
OEDEMA REDUCTION
Significant reduction of superficial and deeper oedema in and around the wound.
Reducing oedema will improve the microcirculation and the blood supply in and around the wound, creating a significant faster wound healing process. As long as there is oedema in and around the wound, the wound will never heal completely.
OXYGEN ELEVATION
Elevation of the local (1mm) and deeper (3-6mm) oxygen levels in and around the wound.
This will improve the oxygenation of the wound tissue and granulation tissue will be created faster.
MECHANICAL DEBRIDEMENT
VACUTEX™ contributes to the mechanical debridement of the wound by removing debris out of the wound.
VACUTEX™ will help to create the necessary wound bed preparation to achieve an optimal wound healing process.
As long as there is oedema in and around the wound, the wound will never heal completely.

CleanWND®
Projected U.S. Launch 2026Ready to use cloths for debridement and easy cleaning of the wound and the wound environment.
CleanWND® is a non-woven, impregnated cloth that acts as an innovative debridement and therapy system for complex wounds. It removes debris and exudate thoroughly and practically painlessly from the wound and eliminates flakes and keratosis from the surrounding skin.
CleanWND® is manufactured using the “needle punch method” and contains short fibers, enabling it to collect wound debris easily during mechanical debridement without leaving any residual lint or fibers in the wound bed or on the surrounding skin.

Indications

Instructions for use
Open the packaging where indicated and extract the cloth. Use the cloth to debride and cleanse the wound. The CleanWND® cloth doesn’t have a top or bottom side. Use one CleanWND® cloth per wound to perform debridement. The CleanWND® cloth is already impregnated, so no other cleaning fluids are needed to debride and clean the wound. After use, please dispose the cloth as clinical waste.
